Important first steps–I open my windows and soak in the sounds of the city. Then it’s time for baguettes & butter and fountains and flowers.

So I Paid for Passage to Paris -And I wished upon a Star -That my dreams are not Bizarre.
A new “family” of writers. Me and my PAA classmates and mentors at closing festivities on the Quai Saint Bernard, where every evening (as weather permits) there is multi-genre dancing (salsa, tango, hip hop, swing, etc) in designated areas. We ended up gathering with the traditional Alsace French dancers.
And a gathering of expat-American authors and artists.

And 50+ years of friendship for the 3 Musketeers (Llynn, Renee & Speedy). We’ve got a LOT of stories!

Walking sticks at Galerie Fayet (since 1909) in Passage Jouffroy. The store was like walking into a shop Harry Potter might frequent on Diagon Alley.
Monday lunch at restaurant Mini-Palais in the Grand Palais with Paris writer, jazz singer, tour guide and flaneur Terrance Gelenter (on the right with restaurant manager ‘René).
Tuesday morning markets. At the Fromager I was scolded for taking the butter off the shelf by myself – but I’ll gladly pay penance because French butter is to die for. And bacon sliced to order …need I say more?
